Mrs.Stephanie Altman Winans and Mrs.Deniz Gürsan Atalık visited our school.
On 24th March Mrs.Altman Winans and Mrs.Gürsan Atalık from the US Embassy Ankara visited our school.KAL students and teachers were honoured to host their guests in their school.Mrs.Altman Winans and Mrs.Gürsan Atalık met YOUTH LAB students in the Principal's room and then Mrs.AltmanWinanass and Mrs.Gürsan Atalık had lunch with the students.In the afternoon KAL YIEP Groups presented their products and action plans to Mrs.Altman Winans and Mrs.Gürsan Atalık.KALpreneurs have been working on their project for more than six months and they have learnt and implemented lots of entrepreneurial efforts during this time.I'm extremely proud to witness youth engegament on such creative,collaborative,critical,student centred ,highly motivating projects. Mrs.Altman Winans and Mrs.Gürsan Atalık gave very informative and helpful information about their projects and gave advice on their presentations before the semi-finals.Finally , Mrs.Altman Winans and Mrs.Gürsan Atalık presented the certificates of our students who completed iEARN and UNICEF collaborative online course MDGs LAB.KAL students are now young,aspiring reporters for World Youth News.Congratulations to all and lots of thanks to US Embasy Ankara,TED,Technopolis and iEARN for giving our students a chance to make a difference in their lives.
